Welcome to the June episode of the Paper Trail Blog Hop. This month we are featuring the Close to my Heart paper packet called Footloose.
If you've arrived from Amy's blog, Pineapple Paper Artist, you are right on track.
I'm still out of town and away from home so I decided to borrow some ideas from local artists here in the Seattle area. This first one is a double sided note/treat holder. The design is incredibly simple and fun to play with.
From the same paper artists I stamp lifted the design for this card. Simple & fun!
My final project is a box my friend Ramona taught me how to make from one sheet of paper. I only wish I'd had a bag of Hershey Kisses to fill it with!
Hope you enjoy my projects with Footloose this month. Now you are off to see Linda at the Paper Taylor.

May Paper Trail Blog Hop is Superhero!
Welcome to the May Paper Trail blog hop. You may have arrived from Vicki's blog, Wizard's Hangout, or you may be just getting started. Follow the links around and you'll end up right back here and hopefully inspired to do some crafting!
This month we are all using the Close to my Heart Superhero paper packet. What a fun selection of papers for the superheros in your life! I chose to use Studio J, Close to my Heart's online scrapping, for my projects. I love the red, white, blue & black featured in this pack and thought it was *perfect* for my Washington DC photos!
Click on the photos and you'll be able to see all the great detail!
One of the nice features of Studio J is that when I order my 12x12 layouts I also get 2 sets of digital copies. One set like I am sharing here and a second set of higher quality from which I can order more prints if I ever care to. My 12x12 layouts will come to me with page protectors all ready to place in my albums. Sweet!
And just so you know.... they don't come with the "Studio J" emblem or motto on your layout.
Thanks for coming by! Now hop on over to Mary's blog, The Road to Peace of Mind or Escape. Yes, she returned to our team and we are so happy to have her back!

This is the layout I'll be using for my Scrap 2012 May classes. Love the simplicity of it!! If you'd like to see the layouts we did for January - March click the "Scrap 2012" tab above.
Most of the paper is straight from the Lucy Paper Pack (X7149B) with two exceptions.
I added Grey Flannel card stock for the photo mats and Dotty for You for the Easter egg bases.
The sweet little peeps (My Peeps B1402) will be glittered when we do this layout in class. They look so cute & edible when they are all glittery!
All egg pieces and letters were cut from the Close to My Heart Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge.
Happy Easter Everyone!
Thanks for stopping by.

Victory! Paper Trail Blog Hop
If you came from Connie's blog, Scraps & Stories you are on the right path. If you are just starting the paper trail with my blog, don't worry. You won't miss anything because we are a circular blog hop and you'll end up right where you started, where ever that is.
This month we are using Close To My Heart's Victory paper packet. The colors and patterns are deep and rich. This packet could be used for Father's Day or graduation cards and layouts, camping and much more. I chose to do some cards.

Convention 2012: Catch the Fever!
One of the highlights of my year is always my "Girlfriend Vacation" aka the annual Close To My Heart convention. This year we are gathering in Dallas, Texas for three full days of fun, excitement, crafting, education and networking. And those are just the planned activities. {wink-wink}
The CTMH Corporate team who works long and hard all year putting our conventions together (along with their "regular" responsibilities) put together this video as a teaser. Trust me, once you've gone to convention you don't need a teaser, but I thought this was fun and want to share it with you.
